Illegal Immigration – While securing the border may be the responsibility of the federal government, Jerry Weiers knows that there is a great deal that the State of Arizona can do to fight illegal immigration. That is why Jerry has fought to deny taxpayer-funded benefits for illegals, worked to pass tough employer sanctions that punish businesses that knowingly hire illegal aliens, and actively opposed sanctuary city policies.

Crime – Jerry Weiers supported legislation to make “3 Strikes and You’re Out” the law in Arizona and he opposes any efforts to release criminals early to save money. He continues to work with local and state law enforcement agencies to combat illegal immigration, property crime and violent crime throughout the state.

Private Property Rights – Jerry was a proud supporter of Arizona’s Prop 207 (2006) that granted real protection to Arizona property owners from eminent domain abuse.
